Choosing a FreeMed podometry platform means choosing the world leader in baropodometry, Sensor Medica, who has been manufacturing all its equipment in Italy for many years. It also means opting for precision, reliability, and ease of use in terms of hardware and software. Intuitive and comprehensive, FreeStep, the platform acquisition analysis tool, was designed by and for podiatry professionals. It allows you to perform complete assessments completely automatically and edit reports on one or more pages, it's up to you!
Integrating the platform into the clinical examination process clearly helps improve the quality of consultations and further enhances the technological image of practices.

The FreeMed podometry platforms or tracks allow for several types of recordings: static, postural, video, and dynamic acquisitions.
The FreeStep software then spontaneously and accurately highlights postural imbalances, asymmetries, and load distributions that are often the cause of pain or locomotion disorders. Integrating podometry platforms into your clinical practice is relevant regardless of the type of patient, whether they are elderly, athletic, young, active, etc. Recording these different measurements at each consultation allows you to quantify and measure the progress of each of your patients. This data is available in automated reports that can be sent to prescribers and other members of the medical team.
For more information, visit our page dedicated to postural analysis.
The choice of podometric platform depends on your approach to clinical examination and the space available in your office. Here are some essential criteria to guide your choice:
Plate dimensions: they range from 40 cm to over 3 m in length! All platforms offer the same types of analysis: static, posturology, and dynamic, and run on the same FreeStep operating software. The choice therefore comes down to the length of the plate if you want to conduct analyses and recordings of several dynamic steps. A step sequence will be more natural and less forced if the analysis plate is larger.
Our teams at Capron Podologie will assist and guide you in choosing the right podometric platform for your specific needs.
With decades of experience in designing technological and IT equipment, Capron Podologie, in partnership with Sensor Medica, is the trusted partner for equipping your clinical examination technical platform. Our podometry platforms and tracks combine proven technology, ergonomics, and performance to provide reliable tools that support your expertise.
