The choice between the two versions depends primarily on the layout of your practice. If the suction unit needs to be placed in a utility room, a closet, or a closed cabinet, the open version is more economical and just as effective. If the suction unit needs to be visible in the treatment room, mounted under a countertop or near the chair, the enclosed cabinet is essential to minimize noise.
